The Magic Candy Factory!

I was kindly invited along to the Katje’s 3D Printed Candy event in Cardiff with my husband, the event was on a stall in the shopping centre which is not the kind of event i’ve been to before.

“The Magic Candy Factory is the world’s first 3D gummy candy printer which gives the customer’s imagination all the power and allow them to create truly customised & delicious gifts and treats.”

When we arrived we were greeted by the lovely team and the founder Melissa Snover who showed us the 3D printers which were absolutely beautiful, the printer was in a wooden case with stunning laser cut wooden case, they looked really elegant. The printer allows you to create your very own unique design which practically can be in the form of any design, shapes, letters, photos etc. Once sent to the printer it prints in under 5 minutes, and what’s even better they’re free from everything! that’s right, they are vegan, gluten-free, nut free & dairy free.

These incredibly yummy treats are a perfect gift for all sweet lovers especially with Christmas next week, being a vegetarian I am forever scrolling through the ingredients list to see if they are suitable for me to eat because lets admit it I do love my sweet stuff! Whats good about The Magic Candy Factory is that there is no reading the labels and worrying if they are ok for you to eat.

You can print these yummy treats in a variety of flavours, strawberry, ripe raspberry, marvellous mango, luscious lemon, beautiful blackcurrant, elegant elderberry, gorgeous apple and tasty tropical blue and then finish them off with three different sprays, glitter dust, sour dust and fizzy dust.

RMK Event | Selfridges Manchester

I was kindly invited along to the RMK event at Selfridges, Manchester on Wednesday by Heather at Of Beauty And Nothingness.

I was greeted by Shel who spent a good 30-40 minutes removing my makeup and prepping my skin for the makeover, which was quite relaxing. I felt comfortable which was nice as I usually am quite nervous when meeting new people but I did not feel like that when I was there. Shel talked through all the products she was using and what they did which was really helpful if you want to use their products again and how to use them.

After my skin was prepped it was ready for the makeup, I was then greeted by Lucy who mainly used their new range ‘Power of Love’ on my face. Lucy ran through the selection of bases, foundations, eyeshadows etc asking me which I wanted to use which was great as it allowed me to interact with them as to define the outlook of my makeup. She also encouraged me to try something different to my usual makeup look, which I took on board and used a dark brown mascara and gel eyeliner. Lucy again spent a good 40-50 minutes doing my makeup and I must say I absolutely adore the outcome.

After my makeup was finished I was kindly allowed to choose a selection of products from their ‘Power of Love’ range which I absolutely adore. The ladies at the booth were all lovely and inviting which really does make a difference.

Overall, I absolutely loved the experience at RMK both the staff and the makeover experience was great. I would definitely recommend for anyone that is passing their booth in Selfridges to definitely stop by!

South Beach Blogging Event | #SouthBeachMovieDay

Today I was kindly invited to the South Beach #SouthBeachMovieDay event at The Corner House Cinema in Manchester as a plus one to Heather over at Of Beauty and Nothingness. I was extremely excited for my first blog event but stupidly nervous but it helped a lot as I already knew Heather from University. I also had never been to The Corner House before but have always passed it, it’s a small 2 screened cinema that shows a lot of independent films which also includes cafe/bar area and a small range of books and cards.

When we arrived at The Corner House the atmosphere was lovely and welcoming, we were guided down to the cinema screens where we watched Clueless, and to say I have not watched this film it’s pretty good but it’s your typical chick flick. After the film viewing we were then guided upstairs to a separate room which was filled with tonnes of goodies – candy floss, preview of new lounge wear and swimwear, cakes, sweeties, drinks & pizza! I was in heaven with all those sweets.

The lounge wear and swimwear were both great a lovely range of colourful items but the one piece that stuck out to me was the ‘Sweetie Pie’ loungewear set, it is super cute which reminded me of David & Goliath‘s clothing range. We were also kindly given a goody bag which included some great products, 40% off their store and a luxury facial treatment! though unfortunately I do not wear tan though i’m sure my sister would love it.

Overall, it was a lovely event to attend with a variety of things to do including some yummy treats. Thank you to the lovely South Beach team for putting on a great event and thank you to Heather for my invite.
