EtailPR Body Jewellery Shop

IMG_2213

I was kindly accepted onto an EtailPR campaign for the Body Jewellery Shop. If you have never heard of the Body Jewellery Shop then the name pretty much speaks for itself. The Body Jewellery Shop has a range of 12,000 products which include body jewellery, piercing tools, fashion accessories and coloured contact lenses for such low prices.

I am a huge fan of piercings, I currently have my nose, snakebites and septum pierced and I also have my ears stretched, but I know that is not everyone’s cup of tea. As part of the campaign I was able to browse through a number of products and make a selection as to what I wanted as my first, second and third choices, as you are not always able to get your first choice.

I was kindly sent the *Wooden Flesh Plug – Mongolian Hat (£6.00), I absolutely adore wooden flesh plugs in my opinion they look far more expensive than plastic ones. I love the wooden texture on these which is great for those who are a fan of organic made body jewellery. Their Mongolian Hat flesh plugs have a concave surface with a slightly rounded middle, these are also double flared which means that they stay securely in your stretched ears without the use of O rings.

I was also kindly sent the *Steel Labret Stud (£1.95) which is suitable for a number of things such as ear piercing and labret piercings. I currently use this labret stud in my lip and it feels really comfortable to wear, the back of the stud which will be against your teeth has a flat base making it less likely to chip your teeth. I have also found that when I have been wearing these I have not caught them whilst eating my food which is a bonus. The only thing that I would say that I dislike about these labret studs is that the balls are so fiddly to put on so a pair of latex gloves are handy to have, seriously the amount of times that I have lost the ball to them is insane.

Overall, I really like these products that Body Jewellery Shop gifted to me for the review, they are incredible quality for such a low price. If you have any piercings or are thinking of getting one I would definitely check out Body Jewellery Shop as they have some great prices.

I’d love to know what piercings you have and what jewellery you wear in them!

I was sent the *Spooky Eyes Black Contact Lenses (28.95$), I have always wanted to have black contact lenses so bad, every time that I have seen them in vampire or demon films I always think that they look super cool so that’s where that has sprung from.

I have actually never used contact lenses before so I was unsure how to actually put them in and was extremely thankful that my partner was to hand as he wears prescription contacts so he helped me. Putting them in was a total struggle for me, at any point that they were going anywhere near my eyeball I kept blinking which was such a pain in the arse though no fault of Spooky Eyes but down to my own inexperience. Once I had finally got the contacts in, which literally took forever I must admit that they looked awesome but it took some getting used to as my eyes are quite a light blue and something was stuck to my eyeball. The contact lenses took a few minutes to get used to especially if you have never worn them before but after those first few minutes they feel really comfortable. The only thing that I was slightly disappointed with was that I could still see my original part of my eye colour and the contact lenses were not completely blacked out however that may be because my pupils were not dilated as you can see from my photo.

Overall, I am extremely impressed with the lenses at Spooky Eyes I love that they have such a wide range of contact lenses for a number of events or just to wear, I would definitely recommend them to others.

Fancy some awesome funky eyes? Check out Spooky Eyes over on their store.

Seascape Les Petits Body Lotion

seascape *Seascape Les Petits Body Lotion (RRP £12)

If you have not heard of Seascape before then they are a skincare company and currently do a range called ‘Les Petits’ which are dermatologically tested and gently formulated for babies and children with sensitive skin. Seascape have formulated the products so that they are mild enough for everyday use.

I was kindly sent this *Seascape ‘Les Petits’ Body Lotion to review by Aqua PRFirstly I must comment on how gorgeous the packaging is, it is a box made of heavy 300gsm matte laminated card stock with the interior layered with flowers. The box has beautiful detail of embossed flowers which really creates the feel of luxury.

The body lotion comes in a pump-able bottle which seriously makes life so much easier and less messy when babies/children are involved. I have found that this moisturiser only needs 1-2 pumps to moisturise my little girls skin so a little really does go a long way in this case. The formula is created using 100% natural essential oils of Lavender and Chamomile which soothes and calms your babies skin, Shea Butter and Olive Oil are also packed into this moisturiser to naturally moisturise your babies/child’s skin, finally Jersey Beeswax is included in to lock in moisture and protect their delicate skin.

Since Scarlett has started crawling I have noticed quite a lot of dry skin on her knees and legs, I have been using this moisturiser on her for the past couple of weeks and it has definitely made a difference, her skin is so silky smooth and smells great too. I tend to use this moisturiser mainly after bath time and bed time, I believe that as Lavender is an ingredient used in this moisturiser it tends to make her sleep a little better.

Overall, I cannot recommend this Seascape moisturiser enough to other mummies and daddies, it has made a difference to my daughters skin and it’s natural too! what more could you want.

Have you tried any of the ‘Les Petits’ range before?
